Choices

Life is a series of choices.  Sometimes we make the right choices and sometimes we just have to make our choices right.  There is no escape from making choices and from their consequences.  We wake up each morning with the choice of how we want to live the day.   Pastor Marc spoke today about the fact that we all have evil inside of us.  It is our choice to keep that evil in check. 

With the temptations of this world, how do we keep that in check and how do we teach our children to make the right decisions.  The most we can do as parents, is provide a good role model and have open honest discussions with them.  We also have to show them that the choices they make are their responsibility.  I think, as parents, we try to hard to protect our children from the consequences of poor choices.  I for one need to step up and let Brady and Brooks accept responsibility and feel the consequences ~ good or bad.
